Assistance League^® of Whittier is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that is comprised of multi-talented volunteers working together to fulfill its mission. We are an organization whose members volunteered over 17,000 hours last year. Our volunteers are dedicated to improving the lives of Greater Whittier Area residents through hands-on programs.

Membership is open to those who wish to be of service to our community and have the time, creativity and passion to volunteer. The joy of giving is expressed through extraordinary programs chosen to meet the specific needs of our community.

Membership Levels and Requirements

Voting:

Work two (2) three (3) hour shifts per month in the thrift shop during the week
Serve on at least three (3) committees per year
Attend monthly meetings to be able to vote on matters concerning the chapter
Pay annual dues of $75

Sustaining (Nonvoting):

Sustaining members shall have completed a minimum of eight (8) years of voting membership and shall have applied for and been granted such membership by the Board
Pay annual dues of $90
